Another chapter "complete"

It’s been a minute since my last post about writing the cookbook. We hosted for Thanksgiving which meant, among other cooking and hosting duties, smoking a point cut of brisket and smoking a turkey. Both which came out dang tasty if I do say so myself.

Still, the deadline continued to approach so I managed to get in some recipe work here and there. Enough to complete another chapter. Originally, Open-Faced Sandwiches and Saucy Sandwiches were going to have their own chapters. But after a brief chat with my publisher, we agreed to merge the two. Below are the base versions of the sandwiches.
