Guardian Photo Shoot: Behind The Scenes
The Guardian is sent a photographer over today.
A couple weeks ago I chatted for about an hour with with a reporter from The Guardian news outlet in the UK. Typically, they then ask me to send over some pictures or take screen grabs from my video and the piece is published. So it came as a complete surprise to me that they wanted to send a photographer to my house.
So, this afternoon, I hung out with the talented and creative photographer Winni Wintermeyer (no, they didn’t send him from the UK, he’s located in San Francisco).
The set up was for me to make a couple sandwiches in advance, then have the ingredients ready to make one “on camera.” In thinking about it, I chose to make an international sandwich, an old sandwich, and a sandwich of recent history.
