Travel Note: New Orleans
It's not all sandwiches...kinda...
We had lunch yesterday at Bywater adjacent (might still be considered Bywater) N7 restaurant here in New Orleans. It is a restaurant with loads of relaxed outdoor seating and the menu that is French with hints of Japanese cuisine such as the Karage Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Soy Sauce Creme Brûlée (more on that later).
You’d think since I have a sandwich every single day that I might be tempted by the mussels or something else. Nope, I needed to try the Salmon Croque Monsieur. I’d never heard of salmon being used in a Croque Monsieur and thought, “why not?”
