Ok, that sub-headline might be overselling it a tad. Back when I started Sandwiches of History in late 2018 I didn’t know what was going to happen. Yet here we are about to enter year six. Which means I’ve made a fair amount of sandwiches.

At some point it dawned on me that perhaps I should be tracking the information about the videos as there was no way I was going to be able to remember it all. So I started a Google Sheet and began retroactively populating it with information. So far, I’ve only been able to do 2022 and 2023. My goal is to stay on top of it for 2024 while every month working on filling out 2019 and 2020 (the ones for 2018 will be easy since I started in October and wasn’t posting daily yet).

So, as thank you for subscribing to the Sandwiches of History Substack, I am sharing that spreadsheet for the first time. Ever.

For each sandwich it has:

• A link to the YouTube video
• Sandwich name
• Which book it was from (or other source)
• Type of sandwich (Tea, meal, etc. though to be fair I still need to update that column severely. Also, this isn’t a column yet in 2022 tab.)
• Year or country of origin (for International Sandwich Sunday)
• Original rating
• Plus up rating
• Plus up ingredients used
• Will I finish it? (Yes/No)

Would I make it again? (Yes/No)
