It’s from 1970’s Myra Breckenridge Cookbook. The cookbook was named for the cult movie Myra Breckenridge starting Rachel Welch. I’m sure if I had seen the movie, I might get the reference of Spiral Staircase. But alas, no. Still, it seems like an odd version of an onion soup dip so why don’t we give it a go?
